Danny Young's priorities for President-Elect are to:
- Recognize the engineer's right to "title" and the right to "practice" to differentiate between practicing engineers and non-practicing engineers
- Mandatory Professional Development that will enhance the relevance of the P.Eng. designation
- Ensure only licensed engineers do engineering
- Enhance practice standards, practice inspections and develop defined specialty designations
- Intensify PEO's role to capture graduates to become P.Eng.
- Improve communications with members
- Encourage PEO members to join OSPE
